We are looking for an engaged college student from Douglas County for our open Board of Directors spot. UWKV reserves two slots for aspiring young leaders, one from Shawnee County and one from Douglas County. No experience needed. If you are someone who thrives when giving back to the community, we want to meet you!
Come volunteer alongside board leaders from companies like Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas, Security Benefit, the University of Kansas, the City of Lawrence, Goodyear, Capitol Federal and more.
Board members agree to attend the board meeting in Topeka every 4th Thursday from 7:30 am to 9 am. Most meetings have a hybrid Zoom option.
Board service is for 2 years. Additional committee assignments and volunteer opportunities are available.
