Leadership Givers support the long term giving approach because it provides the means to effect lasting change in the lives of the needy. Not only will your investment help to make a difference in someone's life, it will establish you as a leadership giver with a visionary spirit. Leadership givers will be recognized for their gifts on our website, in local advertising, in the annual report and during our annual campaign celebration. Leadership Donors are individuals, households and businesses who donate between $1,000 and $9,999 annually.

The Tocqueville Society is comprised of our community’s most generous philanthropists who are committed to making a difference where they live and work. Members of this elite group best utilize the power of United Way to make a significant impact in our community. Tocqueville members contribute $10,000 or more annually to United Way. These contributions make a lasting impact in the community.

Step-up to Tocqueville

United Way is pleased to offer this unique giving option for community leaders interested in joining the Tocqueville Society. Ideally, Step-Up Program members reach the $10,000 level over a period of three years. Simply fill in your desired pledge for this year’s campaign when you complete the Step-Up Program Pledge Form. We suggest a minimum of $5,000 in year one, $7,500 in year two, and $10,000 in year three. All Step-Up Program donors are recognized as members of the Tocqueville Society, invited to attend exclusive Tocqueville events and listed at the $10,000 giving level in various publications.
