Douglas County Big Brothers Big Sisters: 2022 Success Story

WHAT YOU MAKE POSSIBLE:

Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Douglas County was able to make 28 new matches between July 1 and December 31, 2022 for a total of 52 new matches for the year.

They also had an 8% increase in families served with 134 active matches being served by the end of the year. The total number of youth served in 2022 was 186. In addition to these matches, the United Way funds paired with increased staff capacity allowed for continued growth to serve even more youth in 2023.

With data driven changes, Big Brothers Big Sisters also began targeting kids who need the program which created a more balanced outcome of served demographics.
