2023-25 Community Investment Grant Process
In January 2023, United Way of Kaw Valley (formerly United Way of Greater Topeka) will release a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a new generation of two-year impact work grants for those serving Shawnee or Jefferson counties.
Any agency interested in applying for a new grant in Childhood Success, Family Success or Family Supports (basic needs) should attend the in-person RFP release meeting on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Shawnee County Health Department, 2600 SW East Circle Dr.
This is a NEW APPLICATION with new grant categories. We recommend that you attend the RFP release meeting if you plan to apply. BASIC NEEDS PARTNERS: Basic needs will no longer have a separate RFP process. If you intend to apply for a grant focused on basic needs, you will now need to apply under the Family Supports section of the upcoming RFP. More information will be shared at the January 9 meeting and extensive technical support will be available to applicants.
